Google today unveiled a new model of the Chromebook, which will be available starting this Monday for $249. The ARM based notebook will sport an 11.6-inch display, 10-second boot time, and 6.5 hours of battery life. Customers who purchase the new Chromebook, which weighs in at a mere 2.5 pounds, will also receive 100 GB of Google Drive storage for two years.

The Chromebook features dual band Wi-Fi, 12 free Gogo Inflight passes, and offline apps for the rare times when you’re disconnected from the web.

Viruses, malware and other nasties are taken care of. No extra software (or worrying) required.
