Microsoft and Barnes and Noble unveil “NOOK Media” subsidiary

Barnes and Noble announced today that it and Microsoft have completed the formation of a new subsidiary called “NOOK Media,” which was first unveiled earlier this year. Microsoft has invested $300 million into the new company, but it is still unknown exactly what the company will be working on.
