Nintendo announced today that the next-generation Wii U will be available in North America starting on November 18, 2012 for a entry price of $299.99. The Wii U will be available in two versions, detailed below:
- "Basic Set" - Wii U console, GamePad, HDMI cable, Wii U sensor bar and 8 GB of storage ($299.99)
- "Deluxe Set" - everything included in Basic Set, alongside GamePad charging cradle, console stand, 32 GB of storage, Nintendo Land ($349.99)
The Deluxe Set will come in a black finish.
Alongside this announcement, Nintendo also revealed that New Super Mario Bros. Wii U will be available for the new console at launch.
In addition, Nintendo also announced "Nintendo TVii," a personalized TV guide that gives users the ability to see information on Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video, live TV and video on DVR.
