Millions of Go Daddy websites down

Sometime in the past several hours, Internet domain registrar and web hosting company Go Daddy began experiencing issues with its websites, causing millions of sites to go down. The company, which is keeping customers updated on Twitter, says that some websites have been restored, but the investigation is ongoing. Even GoDaddy.com is down at this time, only with a message of the current issues. Several reports claim that the issues are a result of DNS issues, but one hacker is even claiming responsibility for an attack on Go Daddy.
