According to a report from Bloomberg, Motorola Mobility has filed a lawsuit against Apple over claims that the iPhone maker infringed upon its patents, especially with Siri. Motorola believes that Apple infringed upon a total of seven patents, ranging from location reminders, e-mail notification, and phone/video players. The company is seeking an import ban of the iPhone, iPad, and Mac computers.

“We would like to settle these patent matters, but Apple’s unwillingness to work out a license leaves us little choice but to defend ourselves and our engineers’ innovations,” Motorola Mobility said in an e-mailed statement.
