According to a report from AllThingsD, Judge Lucy Koh asked both Apple and Samsung executives to meet one last time to see if a settlement can be reached in the lawsuit both companies are currently involved in. If Apple and Samsung aren't able to reach an agreement, Koh says that she sees a "risk here for both sides if we go to a verdict." The report says that lawyers for both companies have agreed to at least one more telephone call to reach a settlement.

Apple is suing Samsung over claims that Samsung stole the design of the iPad and iPhone in its Galaxy line of smartphones and tablets.
