According to The Verge, Microsoft has begun transitioning its products from the "Metro UI" brand name to "Modern UI," following the company's announcement last week that it had axed the Metro brand. The user interface, which is based on typography, is featured on Microsoft's website, Windows Phone, the Xbox 360, and soon, Windows 8.

The company was forced to stop using the "Metro UI" brand name following German retail company Metro AG threatening legal action over use of the trademarked term.

What are your thoughts on the new name?
