Apple announced today that OS X Mountain Lion, the ninth major release for Mac OS X, will be available from the Mac App Store sometime in July for a new low-price of $19.99. OS X Mountain Lion will include over 200 new features, including the new Messages app, Notification Center, Facebook integration, Dictation, Power Nap, GameCenter, and more.

At WWDC today, Apple announced that Mountain Lion will include support for dictation, allowing users to speak what they'd like to type. Another new feature announced today is Power Nap, which allows newer Macs to keep up to date when they are asleep. For example, the Mac will continue to refresh Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Reminders, Notes, Photo Stream, Find My Mac, and Documents in the Cloud, even when asleep. Finally, the company announced iCloud tabs for OS X Mountain Lion, which will keep open tabs in Safari in-sync between multiple iCloud-enabled devices.
