Today, Tapbots released a version of its popular iPhone Twitter client "Tweetbot" for the iPad ($2.99, App Store link). Tweetbot for iPad has a very similar interface to the iPhone version of the client and includes "Smart Gestures" for accessing tools quickly. The app is a separate purchase from the iPhone version of Tweetbot from the App Store.
Alongside this, Tweetbot 2.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch was also released, bringing an improved timeline view, user interface tweaks, and a number of small improvements.
