According to a leaked image posted by WMPoweruser, Microsoft is planning to release its Windows Phone "Tango" update to the world sometime in the second quarter of 2012. Tango is expected to be a software update focused around cheaper handsets for developing countries, but users in the U.S. should also be receiving the upgrade.

In addition, the same leaked roadmap claims that Windows Phone "Apollo" will be released sometime in the fourth quarter of 2012. Apollo is expected to be focused around high-end super phones and address the lack of business-oriented features in the current version of Windows Phone 7.
