As noted by PC World, Samsung will be launching a slightly modified version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Germany sometime next week following sales of the tablet being banned in the country because of design infringement with the iPad. The Galaxy Tab 10.1N has already appeared on some German retailer websites in a white, 16 GB model, black, 32 GB Wi-Fi model, and 64 GB Wi-Fi model.

The slightly revised tablet moves the speakers from the side of the device to the front and sports a modified bezel so some silver is visible. "Yung [Samsung spokesperson] emphasized that the design was made in response to the German legal authorities, and not to Apple's claims of patent infringement," the report claims.

No solid release date has been given at this time.
