Google's music event is still ongoing at this time, but the company has already announced that it will be launching a Music Store for the Android Market later today, available both on the web version of the Market and mobile devices. The Music Store will allow users to "discover, purchase, share, and enjoy music," says Google.

Single tracks are available for either $0.99 or $1.29 and albums are available at slightly higher prices. The store also includes integration with Google+, allowing people to share recently purchased music on the social network. In addition, users on Google+ will be allowed to listen to a song one time - in full - if a friend purchased that song from the Android Market.

Google also has put a heavy emphasis on recommendations and discovering new artists and tracks on the Music Store, allowing users to see related artists and songs, as well as see recommendations based on their existing library. Google will also be highlighting certain artists every week and will be offering one free "Song of the Day" to discover new music.
