iOS hacker Conrad Kramer announced via his Twitter account this evening that he has found out how to enable a secret Panorama feature in the default iOS Camera app. According to the Kramer, to enable Panorama, people must set the "EnableFirebreak" key to "YES" in the file called "com.apple.mobileslideshow.plist," which is located in iOS' /Library/Preferences folder. That means anyone who is feeling a bit adventurous and has a jailbroken device should be able to enable Panorama.
It's unclear why this feature never made it into the final release of iOS 5, but since it is still there, we expect it to be coming in a future release.
