Now that Twitter uses its own photo sharing methods it only makes sense for the company to enable photo sharing via text message. Twitter announced Wednesday that the feature is now available in select countries on select carriers.
Twitter users can post new tweets with pictures attached the same way they'd normally send some a picture with a text message.
Supported Carriers
- United States: AT&T, Verizon and Cellular South
- UK: Vodafone, O2 and Orange
- Italy: Vodafone
- Canada: Rogers Communications
- Bahrain: VIVA Bahrain
- Brazil: Telecom Italia Mobile
Although the service is available with only select carriers, Twitter says it is working with more carriers to enable the new feature.
