This week, Apple launched a new Twitter account for the U.S. iBookstore, providing updates for followers regarding new releases, offers, and other information. The account was actually first opened back in June, but Apple has only begun sending tweets out today, Wednesday, September 14, 2011.

The second tweet sent from the iBookstore's Twitter account promotes Erin Morgenstern's The Night Circus.
Apple currently operates another Twitter account specifically for the App Store, providing similar information that this account gives.
