Engadget is reporting that Sprint's CEO, Dan Hesse has confirmed that significant 4G plans will be announced this fall. While we don't know what is is, he says it's great, and will make things clear. Nobody would say anything about what markets will be announced, or what they plan to do.
He confessed that it's been awhile since Sprint or Clearwire has launched a new 4G market, and Verizon is pushing them out like crazy.
They also confirmed that they aren't married to Clearwire or WiMax, but nobody would say anything about the rumored LightSquared deal for 15 years.
