Verizon and Motorola have finally made it official. It seems like we saw a leak just about everyday, so we just stopped reporting on it. The second generation Droid X, being called the Droid X2 has been announced, and it's up for online-order tomorrow, May 19, and will hit stores on May 26th.

It has the same sized display, but this one will be qHD, meaning 540 x 960, the same 8 megapixel, 720p recording camera, a new Dual-Core processor, Android 2.2, and will soon be updated to 2.3.

Engadget also notes that the HDMI and charging ports are separated, similar to the Atrix on AT&T, they are wondering if this device will soon be compatible with Webtop devices.

Again, it's coming online tomorrow, and will be available in stores on the 26th, for $200 dollars on a new, two-year contract.
