Apple vs. Samsung lawsuit includes iOS device sale numbers

Asymco has found that, in the lawsuit that Apple filed against Samsung yesterday, the iOS device maker revealed some never before seen sale numbers of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. According to the lawsuit filings, Apple has sold 108 million iPhone units, 19 million iPad units, and 60 million iPod touch units. The sale numbers are as of March 2011.

Apple introduced the original iPhone back in 2007, iPod touch in 2007, and the iPad in 2010. So, without a doubt, Apple’s selling these things like crazy, and most people seem to like them.

In the lawsuit, Apple claims that Samsung infringed upon multiple Apple-held patents, including the user interface found on many Samsung devices, and the design of the Samsung Galaxy Tab and Galaxy S 4G smartphone.
