According to TechCrunch, Sean Kovacs, the developer of a third-party Google Voice iPhone application (which was removed from the App Store following Apple's claim GV Mobile repeats to many functions of the iPhone last year), tweeted earlier today that he has received confirmation from Apple that his app, if resubmitted, would likely be accepted into the App Store.

After Apple released its guidelines earlier today about which apps would be rejected from the App Store if submitted, Kovacs read over it and believed that Apple couldn't reject his app. He then contacted Apple and was told that, if interested, he could resubmit his app for consideration.

There hasn't been any official confirmation from Apple or Google, but both have been reached out too.
