Microsoft has announced via their Major Nelson blog that several subscription fee charges will be changing for Xbox LIVE gold memberships. The new prices are in effect on November 1st, 2010 in Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, and the United States.
Microsoft claims that they are increasing subscription fees because they have added so much new content to Xbox LIVE since it launched in 2002 that they must increase pricing to keep them in the market.
Back in July, it was revealed that Microsoft made over $1 billion in revenue just from Xbox LIVE over the past year.
