According to recent data revealed today by Pingdom, Google is leading the mobile search industry with a market share of 98.29%. Yahoo!, the closest to Google in statistics, only carries about 0.81% of the mobile search market, and Bing with barely half of that, with 0.46% of the mobile search market.

Also, Google owns 90.57% of the desktop search market, with Yahoo! again being the closest, with a mere 3.91%. Microsoft’s Bing search engine is closer to Yahoo! with 3.74% of the worldwide market share for desktop search.

The graph above was put together by combining global visitor stats from over three million websites.

One thing to say here – Good luck to Yahoo! and Bing!
