Jason Ting developed an app, one that allows the user to use his/her iPhone 4's flash as a flashlight, and it was released into the App Store yesterday. Ting today let the world know that his application, which used Apple's iAd mobile advertisements, made $1,372.20 is one day.

Ting has told sources that his app was downloaded over 9,000 times and has a eCPM ("effective cost per thousand") was $147.55, which is significantly higher than normal apps.

When asked what ads were being displayed in his app, Ting responded with “It looks like the only iAds that are currently showing are from Dove and Nissan.”

That's a lot of money to make in one day!
