I think that we all knew this day was coming. Google has decided to let go of their restrictions on the Nexus One. When Google launched the Nexus One, they had big plans for their online store. The company announced today that they are letting go of the web store, because people want a hands on experience before actually buying the phone.

This is probably one of the major reasons why the Nexus One showed poor sales reports, that and the fact that the Sprint, and Verizon rejected the phone in favor of the Evo 4G, and the Droid Incredible.

Google still says that they have plans to launch more "cutting edge" Android products. Even though the "Google Phone" died a few weeks ago.
