Apple today announced that they have reached the one million iPads sold in the first 28 days of the launch of the WiFi model milestone. iPad users have also downloaded 12 million apps and over 1.5 million eBooks during the same amount of time.
"One million iPads in 28 days -- that's less than half of the 74 days it took to achieve this milestone with iPhone," said Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO. "Demand continues to exceed supply and we're working hard to get this magical product into the hands of even more customers."
However, Apple did not mention any numbers regarding its WiFi + 3G model iPad, which went on sale last Friday.
Apple previously announced that it had sold 300,000 iPads on its first day of sale of the WiFi-only model.
