Phandroid is reporting that LG has just posted via their UK blog that their next Android device will be the LG LU2300. The specs for the device will put it up directly against the HTC Legend and Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.

The LU2300 will come with Android 2.1 installed and improves on the InTouch Max’s resistive touchscreen by incorporating a 3.5″ AMOLED display. The specs:

  • Android 2.1
  • 3.5inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen
  • 1GHz Snapdragon Processor
  • 4 line landcape slide QWERTY keyboard
  • DivX support
  • Wi-Fi
  • DMB Tuner
  • 5 megapixel camera complete with geo-tagging

LG is emphasizing that fact that the device comes with Android OS pre-installed.
