Android Central is reporting that Archos is pumping out Generation 8 Internet Tablets this summer with 6 new models coming. The screens will range from 3-10 inches, and prices running from $100-$350.

Pretty reasonable for a tablet I think.

Generation 8 will feature something that other generations have not had, and that is Multi-touch. Has anyone noticed that when Apple brought Multi-Touch to iPhone, it really took off??

Generation 8 will also be running an ARM Cortex processor between 800MHz and 1GHz with a 3G open GL support. It is running a skinned Android with a version that is currently unknown.

Unfortenualy, the Marketplace is being replaced with AppLibs.

More information should become available at Computex in June.
