Sony has just announced the ‘PlayStation Move’, a motion controller for the PlayStation, at GDC 2010. Sony calls it the “next generation of motion gaming” because it’s so precise. The product uses the PlayStation Eye camera to track the controller and Sony says it becomes an “extension of your body.” Sony has said that this is not just for casual gaming, but for heavy gamers also.

Here are the different ways to get a Move:

• In a bundle with a PS3
• Standalone
• In a starter kit priced somewhere under $100 with the PlayStation Eye, a controller and a game

No further pricing has been announced. Sony says that this product should be everywhere, since they consider it a major console launch.
