OnLive, an online game streaming service, has announced that they will be coming to the U.S. on June 17th. The service will cost $14.95 a month, and to purchase or rent games, it costs more (the final price for this is not yet announced). OnLive has also said that the first 25,000 people to sign up for the service, will get their first three months free.
The service includes free instant-play demos, multi-player and an "instant video-based social network." OnLive will run on a Mac or PC as a browser plugin and the MicroConsole TV adapter will be released later this year. Initially, the service will run at 720p, but 1080p / 60 fps will be added later. There is reportedly going to be 15-25 titles available at launch.
