The Wall Street Journal is reporting today that Google and Disk Network have begun testing a stripped-down version of Android OS on set-top box for TV’s.

The box features a QWERTY remote and users can search both Dish Network content and other services, like YouTube. According to the report, this is not going to be seen in houses any time soon:

[The trial] is limited to a very small number of Google employees and their families and could be discontinued at any time.

Seems like this is the next thing Google will make/create.
