Google today released a new feature for their Android operating system called Gesture Search. It is an experimental feature for phones running Android 2.0 and above.

Gesture Search is an application that users can download to their device, open it up, draw a letter or word, the phone will then analyzes the text, and then searches the entire device for contacts, bookmarks and applications that contain that letter or word. Text can also be erased by drawing a line from left to right.

Google has also said this is a good replacement for people that don’t like Voice Search on the Android OS.
