A few days back, we reported that Sprint posted a blog post, which was then removed, confirming that the network would be receiving the Palm webOS 1.4 update last night. This turned out to be true, and customers can now have features like video recording, Flash, enhanced message notifications and performance and stability upgrades.
The update weighs in at 39 MB and will be downloaded when the user is connected to a high-speed network and when the device is idle. The update is not available to Verizon Wireless, Bell and Telcel customers yet, but Palm says they will be receiving the update "soon."
