About a year ago, Apple announced "Variable Pricing" on iTunes Music which allows music to be .69 cents, .99 cents or $1.29, opposed to the .99 cents for every music file previously.
New reports from the Warner Music Group show that iTunes Music sales are significantly down since the new pricing was introduced. It went down five percent in the December quarter, ten percent in the September quarter and eleven percent in the August quarter.
However, Apple has still been able to keep a 70% market share in digital music downloads.
